One of the most rewarding parts of travelling is making the history of a place "come alive". Stories and accounts read about the past are made all the more relevant, and so too the historical personalities associated with a specific area. As mentioned in a previous blog entry, I recently visited Spain. A leading interest of mine was to trace the footsteps of the great Castilian novelist and writer, Miguel de Cervantes, whose influence upon the Spanish language is such that its often been termed la lengua de Cervantes. I visited several important places associated with this great writer, so that his personality, works and legacy were made alive to me as an expression of la alma castellana.

 

 

 

 

 

This is the modest house in Alcalá de Henares where Miguel de Cervantes was born on 29 September 1547. However, he spent much of his childhood moving from town to town, given his father's work as a barber-surgeon. Nevertheless, this house was an important site for me to visit, on 18 June 2017. I even made some notable "friends" right outside this Museo Casa Natal de Cervantes, whom I met a year previously in Madrid....







 

 

 

 

Barely more than a week old, Cervantes was baptized in the Church of Santa María la Mayor, on 9 October 1547. The church is today at one end of the Plaza Cervantes in Alcalá de Henares, whose skyline is dominated by a statue of the great writer within sight of the church.

 

 

 

 



Alcalá de Henares continues to celebrate its renown as Cervantes birthplace, with many murals and street art featuring the novelist and my two "friends," the hidalgo Don Quixote and squire Sancho Panza from Castilla-La Mancha.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Venturing through some alleyways pass Plaza Mayor in Madrid, on 16 June 2017 I came across a yellow-brick building on Calle de la Villa, near the Plaza de la Cruz Verde. The current building dates back only to 1870, but the site was originally the Estudio de la Villa as was uncovered by the Spanish prose and travel writer, Ramón de Mesonero (1803-1882), whose explorations around his beloved city reinvigorated a madrileño public with a new passion for their history and literature. 

 

This is where a young Cervantes studied the craft of creative writing under the inspiration of his teacher, the great poet Juan López de Hoyos (1511–1583). This teacher made it his mission to instruct a new generation of budding writers in the humanities. Madrid was relatively new at this point, so the Estudio de la Villa was closely bound up with the cultural foundations of this great city. It also harkens back to my mind the great Guild structures of medieval Europa, with Hoyos being the "master" who instructed a whole generation of "apprentices" such as Cervantes, whose works would become "immortalized" even after their mortal deaths. Is it not fitting that a writer such as myself "found" this site by coincidence, much like Mesonero?

 

 

 

 

Although a prolific writer, Cervantes' most renown work came within the last decade of his life: Don Quixote. The first edition was published in 1605 by the printer Juan de la Cuesta. His shop still stands on Calle Atocha (87), now the headquarters of the Sociedad Cervantina. The neighborhood that grew around the print shop came to be known as Barrio de las Letras, due to the role of Cervantes and his contemporary, the great playwright and dramatist Lope de Vega. The Sociedad Cervantina building was under renovation during my venture into the Barrio on 20 June 2017.

 

On the aptly-named Calle Cervantes (2), I found the house Cervantes lived in prior to the nearby one where he died. In 1833, the proprietor wished to demolish the house to make room for a new one. Thus alerted, the vigilant literary-cultural hero Mesonero wrote a passionate article in Madrid's literary newspaper warning about the impending destruction. This attracted the attention of el Rey Fernando III, who acted after the demolition by ensuring that an alternative entrance was constructed on the side-street (Calle Francos) now named Cervantes.

 

 

 

 

Now, throughout this article it should be clear I'm not a biographer. But some mention should be made of another important aspect of his life. He joined the Spanish Navy, serving with great distinction in Lepanto and other battles against the Ottomans from 1571 to 1574. He refused to abandon the battle even when taken with fever, and kept fighting even after he lost the movement of his left hand. In this and other aspects, he embodied the later character of Don Quixote whom we may suspect was at least partly modeled on the author himself. This was indeed a common practice of the Renaissance works of Chivalry; he had pursued his own "quest" in the warm waters of the Aegean and Mediterranean, just as his characters pursued their "quest" on the plains of La Mancha. And in both cases, it was from the inner desire to make a mark upon history and an outer desire to serve the higher ideal of Castilla y España.

 

 

 

 

A most traumatic yet defining period of Cervantes' life occurred after his capture by Barbary pirates in 1575, which began his five-year sojourn as a slave in Algiers. This is a very dark period in history which has largely been covered up due to European self-guilt and Political Correctness, but over a million white Europeans - including a very large number of Spaniards, such that large areas of the Spanish coast remained depopulated over the next few centuries - were simply snatched up in coastal raids or at sea (like Cervantes), and taken as slaves by the Barbary states of North Africa. Ever possessive of the will to survive, Cervantes attempted escape four times. He remained resilient throughout his enslavement, until he was finally ransomed by his parents and the clerical order of the Trinitarians. This experience inspired his two plays and the "Captive's tale" in Don Quixote.

 

Ever the hidalgo, with that deep Castilian self-pride and chivalrous upholding of higher, more noble values, Cervantes used the experience not to feel like the victim but rather to compel him to new heights in his writings - and its indeed no accident nearly all his works came afterwards. These values are not indicative of rank, for he was and remained a man of humble means. As is common with many writers, he struggled with the ability to make a living from his words, so that he often had to take various jobs in accounting.

 

Although best known for his fictional characters upon whom he projected his own wit, Cervantes was a philosopher with many thoughts on life, love and ethics. Some have even pointed out his observations about government that could be viewed as proto-Anarchic. He had a certain detachment from the elites, both due to his own humble background and his concern with certain higher ideals that he viewed as quickly in decline during his time. His aphorisms and observations are straightforward, indicative of a man who was unwilling to degrade himself by flattering the elites for cheap favors. Those would never appeal to his humility and detachment, in any case. 

 

 

 

Cervantes knew how to appreciate life and those who had enriched or impacted it in some way. Under his own advice that "La ingratitud es la hija de la soberbia" (Ingratitude is the daughter of pride), Cervantes was so grateful to the Trinitarian order that had rescued him from slavery that he issued express wishes that upon his death, he lay to rest in their convent. So it was that upon his death on 22 April 1616, he was buried in the Convento de las Monjas Trintarias (Calle Lope de Vega, 18). Unfortunately, when I visited this Convent of the Barefoot Trinitarians, on 20 June 2017, it was closed for repair work. Reburied elsewhere in 1673, his remains could have been lost to history if not for the advances of forensic archaeology, so that they were rediscovered in 2015 and thereafter re-buried in the Convent. How fitting that even after his death, interesting stories still abound around his life, his character - even his remains.

My Spain Conference Speech on Zionism and Globalism

I was privileged recently to have returned from an enlightening trip to Spain. As with all my travels, I combined several of my passions simultaneously for the best experience. On many levels, my trip to España was personal: I am proudly descended from a Spanish line via my paternal grandmother. My ancestors left their native Castilla y León in the later 19th century, moving to Württemberg where they Germanized their surname from Vázquez to "Vaas", residing in the village of Ellwangen. Yet they retained their strong sense of Spanish roots, and these roots blended with my Swabian German line so that two great ethnic groups of the broader Indo-European family were combined in my blood. Walking again on the streets of Madrid and visiting historic cities of Castilla, allowed me to reconnect further with my ancestors if even briefly.

But this trip was also reflective of my passion for politics and particularly my continued evolution towards National-Anarchism. The National-Anarchist Movement held their first international conference in the beautiful and historic city of Alcalá de Henares outside of Madrid, and I was honored to be invited to speak on the topic of "Zionism and Globalism: A Threat to All Communities." In the process, I met an amazing group of people with numerous talents and perspectives which will continue to enrich my own life in the years to come.

The choice of Alcalá de Henares for the first international conference of an Anarchist movement that boldly proclaims itself free from the infiltrations by both Marxists or Capitalists in other "anarchist" movements, is significant because this is the hometown of the great Castilian novelist, Miguel de Cervantes. For Cervantes was proto-Anarchic in many ways, challenging the political conventions of his day and eschewing the ruling elites. This is certainly evident in his various letters and statements outside his more fictionalized works.

Foreshadowing the "cavalcare le tigre" (riding the tiger) approach of Julius Evola, or the "Anarch" internal exile approach of Ernst Jünger - two approaches notable for rising above the political system and not succumbing to it whether willingly or unwittingly - Cervantes' great novel Don Quixote can be seen in such a way. For the novelist idolized the chivalry of a lost period, the relative freedom of a knight and his squire upon the vast open spaces of Castilla La Mancha, in a witty and often subtle satire of his contemporary society.

 

 

 



There are many false assumptions people make when it comes to the problem of Zionism. Some dismiss it as the "problem" of Palestinians and Arabs, so that it concerns "them" and not "us." This even leads some "nationalist" parties and individuals to make common cause with Zionists. On the other spectrum, there are certain people in alternative media outlets who will oppose Zionism but out of the inherently paternalistic fetishization of Palestinian/Arab culture - or, if they happen to be Muslim, identifying with the Palestinian cause solely because a majority of Palestinians happen to be Muslims. Such individuals identify with this cause not from sincere respect, but out of confusion regarding their own identity. The motives are wrong, not being borne out of a deep respect and sympathy for the Palestinians, but part of a misguided crutch in one way or another.

Still others only look at it in the means of State entities. This is certainly common in our day and age, with Statism seeping so deeply into people's consciousness where its hard to conceive of any social relations outside of a Nation-State structure. This is why, in true Anarchist anti-political fashion, I stress Zionism and Globalism as a threat to "all communities" and not "all nations." As such, I touched upon several factors particularly relating to the West and Europe, since this is the cultural and ethnic tradition from which I come from - while likewise citing in my speech that it certainly affects regions as varied as Latin-America and Africa (through Mossad activities and Israeli arms-merchants fuelling conflicts, or role in "blood diamonds" etc.). What the Palestinians face from Israel in the form of genocide and oppression is the most bloody expression of a global threat which rears its ugly head in various manifestations.

I encourage everyone to check out not only my speech, but those of other participants, because I certainly benefited from the ways these other speakers enriched my own perspectives. A real good write-up was done about the conference by Keith Preston, the owner of the excellent "Attack the System" website which is a clearinghouse and mega-resource of sorts for anyone here in the U.S. interested in anarchist or libertarian thought or any alternative political trend. What follows is his summary of my speech:

Sean Jobst: “Zionism and Globalism: A Threat to All Communities”

Sean Jobst discussed the relationship between globalism and Zionism, and his talk explored a range of different issues pertaining to these, including the influence of Israel in the United States, and role of Israel in the Middle East. Sean has described himself as “a consistent supporter of indigenous rights and self-determination, including for Native Americans, ‘Third World’ victims of imperialism, and for my own European peoples” and notes his “support the preservation of cultures, communities, and tribal identities in the midst of the consumerist monoculture of Globalism.” Sean offers a very far reaching critique of the relationship between Zionism, US imperialism, and global capitalism, between “big business” and “big government,” the false dichotomy of the “left/right” political divide, and in the inadequacy of a range of supposed “radical” movements to fully grasp the all-encompassing nature of the global system.

The picture that emerges is one where an international ruling class or power elite can be identified as operating by means of governments, big banks, telecommunications corporations, private contractor or consulting agencies, elite think-tanks, and intelligence agencies. The power elites foster statism as a means of social and political control, and corporatism as a means of economic domination, thereby rendering meaningless the usual left/right postulation of an alleged conflict between the forces of the state and the forces of capital.  The triangular relationship between Zionists, Wahhabists, and adherents of American exceptionalism provides a core ideological foundation for these power elite. However, the ranks of the global capitalist ruling class also includes the elite of Eastern nations, contrary to the view of Russia as representing the vanguard in the fight against globalism held by many conventional nationalists. Russia is, after all, a member of the G20, and Russia failed to oppose NATO’s war against Libya.

Likewise, Trumpism represents simply another development in the advancement of globalism as Trump’s recent visits to Saudi Arabia and Israel illustrate. The conventional Libertarian movement has not been immune to cooptation by global capitalism, as the presence of figures such as Peter Thiel and Jim Rogers among the ranks of Libertarians indicates. The Left is likewise impotent in the fight against globalism because the Left shares what are essentially the same cultural values and philosophical presumptions of the globalists. The picture that subsequently emerges is one where the ruling class of all major powers is essentially united in a global front against all peoples everywhere, and where nationalists, libertarians, and leftists alike are incapable of mounting an effective opposition. Sean describes the relationship between Zionism and globalism in the following way:

"Let me make clear what I mean by Zionism as a threat to communities. This is not a simplistic identification of Zionism with all Jews, or solely pointing out specific Jews in powerful positions and extrapolating from that they must automatically be Zionists. But what I do is point out verifiable and open links with Zionism or the State of Israel, to demonstrate a nexus or pattern connecting Zionism to the globalist power structure…

"We can define Zionism as Jewish chauvinistic nationalism…Zionism is a global threat. One merely has to cite the ongoing oppression and genocide of the Palestinian Arab people, the Israeli activities against neighboring Arab peoples, and the profitable role of the Mossad and Israeli arms merchants historically throughout the conflict zones of Africa and Latin-America."

A principal tactic that is utilized by Zionists is to deflect attention from themselves by labeling critics as anti-Semites on a reflexive basis pointing out, for example, how Manuel Gerstenfeld, the Dutch-Israeli author and former Chairman of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, lambasted the Norwegians as “a nation of antisemites,” and “a barbaric and unintelligent people” after the Norwegian government issues mild criticisms of Israel. The influence and power of organized Zionism in the United States is particularly significant given American’s military power, and Sean points out how “the Zionists have a stranglehold on Congress, the White House, and other political institutions at least down to the state level, via the powerful pro-Israel lobbying group, the American Israel Political Affairs Committee (AIPAC), and such Zionist political pressure groups as the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). The Zionists have likewise harnessed the forces of Big Business and Wall Street.” Much of this stranglehold is due to the “role of billionaire donors who have made Israel their raison d’etre, such as Sheldon Adelson over the Republican Party and Haim Saban over the Democratic Party – categories of ‘right’ and ‘left’, ‘conservative” and “liberal’” who are in turn “united when it comes to the twin pillars of making money and lobbying for Israel.” Sean also describes how what is now called the “special relationship” between Israel and the United States has its roots in the relationship between the Zionist movement and the United States that began even before the state of Israel was founded.

In 1939 the Zionist leader and future Prime Minister of Israel, David Ben-Gurion, gave a speech entitled “We Look Towards America”, wherein he said the Zionists had “no more effective tool at our disposal than the American Jewish community and Zionist Movement.”(9) Around the same time, Moshe Shertok, the future Foreign Minister of Israel, predicted: “America will have a decisive influence at the end of the war….and the question of our strength in America is a very real and important one. There are millions of active and well-organized Jews in America, and their position in life enables them to be the most dynamic and influential. They live in the nerve-centers of the country, and hold important positions in politics, trade, journalism, the theater and the radio.”

Sean also describes the role of the organized Zionism in the global banking system, pointing out how, for example, the “former Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Dominique Strauss-Kahn, made a career lobbying for Israel within the French Socialist Party” and who in 2011 remarked to the Tribune Juive: “I wake up every morning and think about how I can help Israel.” Influential Zionist billionaires have also been intricately involved with a range of financial crimes, and the role of Tel Aviv as a major financial center. Sean identifies what he calls a “nexus of finance, Marxism, and Zionism.”

"As Anarchists, we naturally oppose any centralization or concentration of wealth or power, which is coercive and exploitative by definition. In his 1871 rebuttal to Karl Marx, the great Russian anarchist Mikhail Bakunin pointed out Marx’s support for 'a strong centralization of the state. And where there is centralization of the state, there must necessarily be a central bank, and where such a bank exists, the parasitic Jewish nation, speculating with the labor of the people, will be found.'

"Bakunin’s use of the word 'Jewish nation' is significant, for this coincided with the rise of Zionism, which redefined Jews as a nation. It’s no accident that Moses Hess, the so-called 'Red Rabbi' who was a close collaborator of Marx, also wrote one of the earliest Zionist texts, Rome and Jerusalem, in 1862. To those accustomed to seeing an antithesis between Zionism as nationalism and Marxist Socialism as internationalism, the self-professed 'Marxist Zionist' and founded of Labor Zionism, Ber Borochov, said in 1897: 'The socio-economic structure of the Jewish people differs radically from that of other nations. Ours is an anomalous, abnormal structure.' It doesn’t take a proverbial leap down the conspiratorial rabbit-hole to recognize a tripartite nexus between International Finance, Marxist Revolution, and Zionist-Jewish nationalism. We need only consult the words of Theodor Herzl, the official founder of the Zionist movement: 'When we sink, we become a revolutionary proletariat, the subordinate officers of all revolutionary parties; and at the same time, when we rise, there rises also our terrible power of the purse.' Alluding to his own connections to powerful Jewish bankers, Herzl also wrote: 'If His Majesty the Sultan were to give us Palestine, we could in return undertake to regulate the whole finance of Turkey.'"

Sean also discussed links between the Mossad and the global banking and media systems, the challenges to Zionist power issued by the rise of anti-capitalist movements in Latin America, and the hypocrisy involved in the Left’s failure to criticize the racist nature of Zionism.

"This has a parallel in the way that mostly upper-class, guilty white liberals and Marxists often project their own inherent racism in a hatred of everything white. As a corollary to this, AntiFa proclaims all of its political opponents – including National-Anarchists – of being 'Fascists' or 'Nazis.' Yet you will never hear these Marxist street thugs attack the Zionists – quite the contrary, they recently attacked an anti-war protest in Washington, D.C. against U.S. involvement in the Syria war (contrary to Israeli interests, who want to implement the Oded Yinon Plan of destabilizing and destroying Syria) and even more recent than that, attacked the anti-Zionist Jewish leftist Gilad Atzmon. Is it not strange that AntiFa never attacks Zionist interests or even Israeli policies which are racist and fascistic?"

Israel’s nuclear arsenal is particularly problematic given the Israeli military doctrine that is known as the “Samson Option.” The Dutch-Israeli military historian Martin van Crevald has observed, “We possess several hundred atomic warheads and rockets and can launch them at targets in all directions, perhaps even at Rome. Most European capitals are targets for our air force. Let me quote General Moshe Dayan: ‘Israel must be like a mad dog, too dangerous to bother.’…Our armed forces are not the thirtieth strongest in the world, but the second or third. We have the capacity to take the world down with us. And I can assure you that that will happen before Israel goes under.” Other issues of concern involve the support of Zionist organizations for mass migration as a means of facilitating the cultural and demographic transformation of Europe, a measure that is utilized as a means of revenge for Europe’s perceived anti-Semitic legacy.

Sean likewise pointed out the inadequacy of “the Statist-nationalist parties and leaders such as the English Defence League, Marine Le Pen’s Front Nationale, PEGIDA, and Geert Wilders.” While these conventional populist nationalist leaders “may oppose mass-immigration” this opposition is hypocritical and self-defeating “because they champion the Zionist wars using European and American cannon-fodder, and the Capitalist social conditions which create the conditions for migration in the first place.” Similarly, these leaders decry the “real terrorist threat of Wahhabi extremism” and yet they “ally with Saudi Arabia and the Israeli-Saudi destabilization in the Middle East.”

Gathering of the Globalists: Some Observations on Bilderberg 2017 and the Structure of Globalism

Bilderberg schematic. All-seeing eye of Big Brother?

Recently, as the media's attention was focused on the latest terrorist attacks or the various political theater distractions, a meeting of significant importance was quietly convened in a suburb of Washington, D.C., over a period of a few days from 1-4 July 2017. This was the Bilderberg Conference, held annually in a different secret location but this year in Chantilly, Virginia. One would think given the proximity to the U.S. capital, it would at least receive some media attention.

Far more significant, however, was that this annual conference brings together many of the leading and most influential figures in governments, big banks, telecommunications corporations, private contractor or consulting agencies, elite think-tanks, and intelligence agencies. A list of the participants is leaked out annually, as it was this year, but nevertheless the discussions held therein behind closed doors are closed to both the general public or the media. Even more suspicion is the annual media blackout of the entire event.

Several facts stand out annually from observing the attendee list. One is that they run the spectrum from the "left" to the "right" - and various shades of political statism in between. Another shows the nexus between State entities with the banking system and Big Business corporate interests. And a final fact which stands out to me is the disproportionate number of global telecommunications companies and intelligence-gathering agencies (both public and private sector) represented at the Bilderberg conferences. A brief look at some of the attendees demonstrates the various convergences of interests making up the structure we know - and hence, oppose - as Globalism....

Paul Achleitner. Current Chairman of the supervisory board of Deutsche Bank and former managing director of the German branch of Goldman Sachs.

Roger Altman. American founder and senior chairman of the global investment banking advisory firm Evercore. He served in various leading positions at Lehman Brothers before and after serving as Assistant Secretary for Domestic Finance in the U.S. Treasury during the Democratic Jimmy Carter Administration. He played a leading role in the U.S. government's approval of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) in 1994. Aside from being a member of the bipartisan, elitist Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), Altman is a member of the Bilderberg's Steering Committee.

José Manuel Barroso. Former Portuguese Prime Minister who then ended his stint as President of the European Commission with a now-lucrative position as Chairman of Goldman Sachs International.

John O. Brennan. As CIA Director under President Obama, he presided over the CIA's drone program. Little surprise that he is now listed as "Senior Advisor, Kissinger Associates Inc."

William J. Burns. A former American diplomat and current President of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a group with long-standing links to various Globalists based on a look of its previous presidents, including open "New World Order" advocate Nicholas Murray Butler, and Communist spy and United Nations architect Alger Hiss.

David Cohen. Former Deputy Director for Operations in the CIA, after which he worked in global risk assessment for the American International Group (AIG) - a multinational banking/insurance
corporation known for its central role in the U.S. financial crisis of 2008: selling its fraudulent credit default swaps (a favorite device of banks such as Goldman Sachs) and essentially being awarded with $180 billion from the Federal government's bailout money (corporate welfare).

Tom Cotton. U.S. Republican Senator from Arkansas. He appeared before the Globalist Bilderberg despite his reputation as a "conservative" who champions the most militaristic positions in U.S. foreign policy, including advocating war against Iran. This is not surprising, given his well-documented links to pro-Israel lobbying groups and war-profiteering "defense" contractors.

Mathias Döpfner. As Chief Executive Officer of the German media group Axel Springer SE, he famously proclaimed "I am a non-Jewish Zionist" (Der Spiegel, 19 June 2006). Known for his close ties to treacherous German Chancellor Angela Merkel and that Globalist-Zionist warmongering svengali Henry Kissinger, Döpfner received the ADL International Leadership Award from the Jewish-Zionist political pressure group, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), for 2014.

Roger W. Ferguson, Jr. Vice Chairman of the Federal Reserve from 1999-2006, during which he led negotiations with the Bank of International Settlements (the central banking structure which connects all the "national" central banks of the world). He presided over the mysterious "Group of 30" (G30), a global study group of the leading bankers and leaders of financial institutions around the world. The G30 was founded in 1978 at the initiative of the Rockefeller Foundation and first led by the managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Niall Ferguson. Scottish-born American historian and economist and a Senior Fellow at the bipartisan think-tank, the Hoover Institution. He authored a heavily-sanitized and apologetic work on the Rothschilds, and was personally entrusted by Henry Kissinger as his biographer. He supported the Neocons' Iraq War and has frequently lectured at the powerful Neocon think-tank, the American Enterprise Institute (AEI). In an article from The Boston Globe in November 2016, Ferguson envisioned a "New World Order" presided over by Trump (USA), Putin (Russia), Theresa May (Britain), Marine Le Pen (France) and Xi Jinping (China), which would collectively carve up the world in neo-colonialist spheres of influence.

Kenneth M. Jacobs. Chairman and CEO of the Lazard banking institution, and a member of the Bilderberg Steering Committee.

Henry Kissinger. Need we say more? A consistent Bilderberg attendee and one with consistent influence over U.S. Administrations, both Democratic and Republican.

Henry R. Kravis. Billionaire co-founder of the private equity firm, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Company. A leading donor to the U.S. Republican Party, he was ranked in September 2015 as 108th
richest man in America and 278 richest man in the world. He was a leading contender for Trump's Treasury Secretary, which ultimately went to Steven Mnuchin.

André Kudelski. Swiss Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Kudelski Group, a leading global corporation in cybersecurity. He is also a member of the board of the multinational credit agency, Credit Suisse, and a member of the Bilderberg Steering Committee.

Christine Lagarde. Successive French Minister of Commerce and Industry; Agriculture; and Finance, who succeeded the disgraced Dominique Strauss-Kahn as Managing Director of the IMF. Known for her links to the Marxist Greek Syriza Party, she demanded "austerity" measures even while herself taking a massive tax-free annual salary.

David Petraeus. Former CIA Director who was then hired by Kravis' New York investment firm, KKP, as both a partner and Chairman of its KKR Global Institute. As General, he served as the military face for the civilian Neocons' occupation policies in Iraq.

David M. Rubenstein. American "philanthropist" and co-founder and co-CEO of the multinational private equity firm, The Carlyle Group. This Group was particularly known for its ties to leading war-profiteering corporations, and whose Board included members as varied (or, infamous) as George H.W. Bush, George Soros, and Saudi Prince Alwaleed. Rubenstein simultaneously serves as Vice-Chairman of the CFR and Vice-Chairman of the Brookings Institution.

Robert Rubin. Current Chairman of the CFR. He worked for Goldman Sachs for 26 years, eventually serving as a board member and co-chairman from 1990 to 1992. As U.S. Treasury Secretary during the Clinton Administration, he encouraged collateralized debt obligations, credit default swaps and other "derivative" financial instruments - contributing to the 2008 crisis. He served as Chairman of Citigroup at the height of the crisis, during which he received a total personal "compensation" to the tune of $126 million. He has served as co-chairman of the CFR board of directors since June 2007.

Leon Wieseltier. American magazine editor and Isaiah Berlin Senior Fellow in Culture and Policy at the Brookings Institution. An avowed Zionist known for his frequent accusations of "anti-Semitism" against certain political opponents, as literary editor of The New Republic and member of the Editorial Board of the Jewish Review of Books, he was a leading "left-liberal" supporter of the Iraq War. He was a member of the Advisory Board for the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq (CLI), a group founded in 2002 to successfully lobby for the Iraq War whose members included the former Director of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), leading members of the Neocon think-tanks the AEI and Project for the New American Century, CEO of the liberal-interventionist think-tank Progressive Policy Institute, former CIA Director R. James Woolsey, and former Swedish Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (and frequent Bilderberg attendee and Board of Trustees of the war-profiteering RAND Corporation), Carl Bildt.

James Wolfensohn. Australian President of the World Bank (1995-2005), former trustee of the Rockefeller Foundation and the Brookings Institution, and CFR member. He has attended 29 Bilderberg conferences since 1985, and was a former member of its Steering Committee. His father was a close friend and associate of James de Rothschild, for whom he was named.

Trumpists and Bilderberg

Despite his much-touted campaign rhetoric against Globalism, at odds with what he promised would be an "America First" foreign and economic policy, Donald Trump has his own Globalist links and connections. That his alleged opposition to the Globalist elites was nothing but a carefully-calculated political lie, is lost on the millions who voted for him because they took his promises seriously - and its also lost on a certain group of American self-styled "Anarchists" who allowed their opposition to liberal elites and cultural Marxist/AntiFa authoritarian street thugs, to cause them to jump on board the Trump bandwagon.

Ironically, these same self-styled "National Anarchists" (promoting their ideas under the organization called NATA) who justified their flirtation with Trumpism by the anarchic philosophy of entryism but in the process began taking on the ideology and rhetoric of that other pole of Statism, barked loudly on social media about their presence protesting outside the Bilderberg Conference. That it was more of a show than a sincere and consistent opposition to that shadowy annual conference, is proven by the fact that no less than four members of Trump's cabinet were inside the building - while these loudmouths still boast of their continued support for Trump....

Chris Liddell. New Zealand-born businessman and "philanthropist", who currently serves as Assistant to Trump and his Director of Strategic Initiatives in the White House. Liddell had previous positions over General Motors, Microsoft, and International Paper. He is also a member of the CFR.

H.R. McMaster. National Security Advisor.

Wilbur Ross. Secretary of Commerce. He is a leading billionaire who spent 25 years running Rothschild Inc.'s bankruptcy practice in the United States. Along with another of Trump's leading economic advisor, billionaire Carl Icahn, Ross helped save Trump's casinos in Atlantic City from bankruptcy in the 1980s. Baron Edmond de Rothschild, David Rockefeller, and gangster and Mossad agent Meyer Lansky were among the original investors of Resorts International, which made the original casino deal with Trump.

Nadia Schadlow. McMaster's second-in-command at the National Security Council, where she handles national security strategy. She also remains a CFR member.

Bilderberg and Globalist Elitist "Libertarians"

Another attendee this year is American venture capitalist and "philanthropist" Peter Thiel. He has a career in that financial scam called "derivatives", and presides over a global hedge fund company. Thiel is a member of the Bilderberg Steering Committee. A self-styled "conservative libertarian," he helped contribute to the Libertarian Party and the campaigns of Ron Paul - but during the general elections, consistently showed his true colors by contributing to warmongering, corporatist, Big State Republicans. He simultaneously donated to conservative causes, and finally in 2016 dropped his "libertarian" façade and came out openly for Trump.

Aside from Peter Thiel, a high-profile supporter of the libertarian Austrian School of Economics is the investor Jim Rogers, chairman of Rogers Holdings and Beeland Interests Inc. Rogers co-founded the Quantum Fund company along with Globalist banker George Soros in 1973. The Rothschilds were among the original shareholders of Quantum Fund. How Rogers could reconcile his proclaimed opposition to government intervention in the market, with the bankers' own government-guaranteed manipulation of financial markets, revealed to me something darker and more sinister at the very top of the Libertarian hierarchy.

I've been pondering on this since my transition to National-Anarchism and complete rejection of the Libertarian movement, but it seems like the Globalist elite includes a bipolar push to state socialism on one hand and pro-corporate "libertarianism" on the other hand. The reason is the same why they pit drones on the "left" and the "right" against each other, but also because each pole fails to recognize a holistic understanding of the State as the nexus of Big Government with Big Business and the Central Banks. Without a broad and holistic understanding of this nature, those who promote more of one aspect to rein in on the unfettered growth of the other, are set up for failure by the Globalists manipulating the discourse from behind the scenes.

"… Already long ago, from when we sold our vote to no man, the People have abdicated our duties; for the People who once upon a time handed out military command, high civil office, legions — everything, now restrains itself and anxiously hopes for just two things: bread and circuses." Some Observations about Libertarianism

The Libertarian Party has disillusioned many within the American Libertarian movement, because it has a consistent record of nominating "former" Republican, johnny-come-lately "libertarians" - some of whom reveal their true nature as soon as the election is over, by going back to the Republican Party. This strategy of playing electoral politics has shown itself to be a failure, because in the process of trying to make some political gains the Party sacrifices any "Libertarian" principles they may possess. I've also learned personally from the lost potential of the two Ron Paul campaigns (2008 and 2012), and the rigged corporate duopoly of the two parties (the Debates Commission being just the most evident example), and so have since grown beyond electoral politics as a method.

Even when I was a self-professed libertarian, I found much more in common with the radical anti-statist tradition of Murray Rothbard and others often called "left-libertarians" than with the elitist, beltway "libertarians" who seem more friendly to big corporations and Globalist bankers than remaining true to a consistent libertarian critique of the State and its links to these same Big Business and Corporate interests. How these special government-guaranteed and enabled privileges to banks and corporations can be called "free-market" by any stretch of the imagination remained the leading stumbling block that finally led to my split with conventional libertarianism.

These concerns made me "lapse" my membership

Philosophically, my staunch opposition to usury in every form could not be squared away with the dominant libertarian position which accepts usury in principle, only opposing certain "interest rates" manipulated by the State but ignoring those set by the private banks which do have a monopoly over the market. That this monopoly has been guaranteed by the State itself, is lost on such "libertarians" who are only too keen on obscuring the distinction between "Capitalism" and a true free-market (similar to their alleged ideological opposites, the Marxist State Socialists - who likewise supported central banks and usury).

Perhaps because of their obsession with "the American Dream" and excessive individualism, the Libertarians have a materialist obsession with property. As I came to reject even the "left-libertarian" position because many of them still justified usury and confused Capitalism with the free-market (a self-proclaimed school called "Anarcho"-Capitalists even arising), and so I looked deep within those schools of Anarchism not "communistic" but which upheld the idea of a true free-market against the State. I found (and continue to find) much wisdom in the Mutualist tradition of Joseph Proudhon and the American individualist anarchist tradition of Lysander Spooner, Benjamin Tucker and Kevin Carson. Tucker's idea of the "Four Monopolies", which include both the Money and the Land Monopolies, also inspired me to write some articles expressing my political awakening.

As demonstrated by the preceding article, Bilderberg reveals the nexus between governments, banks and private corporations. This is the structure of Capitalism, which is as distinct from a truly organic free-market as is Communism and other forms of State Socialism. Because of this nexus, more government is never the answer to the abuses and crimes of bankers and Big Business crooks; and yielding more unfettered activities to bankers and Big Business is never a way to rein in the abuses and encroaching powers of the State. Failure to see this nature of the State is exactly the reason that "leftists" and "rightists" of various stripes continue to be manipulated by the very same elites presiding over this entire mockery called the State. Rediscovering one's own Identity and Tradition itself, is another guarantee against the encroaching Statist-Zionist-Globalist-Bankster system called Globalism (worldwide promotion of a consumer-based, materialist, monoculture stampeding over distinct cultures and traditions) - and I've found this value inherent within National-Anarchism.

Trump is now in Tel Aviv, to receive his marching orders from the true puppet master, the POTUS Benjamin Netanyahu. First order of business was the same tired photo-op successive U.S. presidents and politicians from both parties make: Donning the yarmulke and wailing at the wall in Jerusalem to the "G-d" of the Pharisees, of course surrounded by his son-in-law, Jared Kushner (a member of the supremacist Chabad movement, which regards us "goyim" as "kellipot" or mere "husks" of light exiled from God, inferior to the "Chosen"), and his wannabee "shabbat shiksa" daughter, Ivanka.

That his first trip abroad as President was to Saudi Arabia and Israel belies the entire "America First" campaign rhetoric Trump's gullible followers fell for (and liberal haters of Trump for the wrong reasons, need not talk since their girl Hillary would've done the same). This is an indicator that its business as usual in Washington, irregardless of the puppet they select into the White House. The "outer shell" elites may be interchangeable between Democrat and Republican, liberal and conservative, "left" or "right", but the core elites always remain the same and so does the agenda.

He chose Israel first and foremost because of the stranglehold that the Israel lobby has over "our" foreign policy, controlling Congress and the White House and owning the politicians of both parties. His leading advisors who read like a yeshiva who's who will ensure the status quo even if he was sincere about "America First" (which he isn't) - Greenblatt, Cohn, Kushner, Mnuchin, Icahn, etc. etc. as will his paymasters like Adelson and Marcus. Democrats and Republicans are interchangeable - Cohn is still a Democrat, while Kushner and Mnuchin (like Trump himself) have frequently shifted between both parties). The slavish 26 standing ovations Netanyahu got in Congress in 2015 was a bipartisan affair, as is the screwing of the economy by Goldman Sachs.

Strange Occult Ritual?

As for Saudi Arabia, Trump conferred with that Grand Shaykh of Wahhabidom because of the Neoliberal/Neocon Globalist agenda of destabilizing the Levant. That Trump would buddy up with the ideological and financial exporters of terrorism and fanaticism should come as no surprise to anyone with a brain, who were able to see beyond the campaign rhetoric (staged) against his friend Hillary, because his true actions and intentions have always been a matter of record. Its also placating the Big Business interests, including the military-industrial complex; selling the Saudis $110 billion of weapons that will be continually used to slaughter and terrorize Yemenis and Syrians (not to mention on the streets of Europe). There is much profit to be made from the blood of thousands, and unfortunately the masses will look the other way because of the "jobs" brought by such death machines.

Trump and Saudi Arabia: A Record of Doublespeak and Political Posturing

The recent $110 billion weapons deal was made by the very same man who, as presidential candidate, in his foreign policy interview with the Washington Post in March 2016, said that "if Saudi Arabia was without the cloak of American protection of our country's, of U.S. protection, think of Saudi Arabia. I don't think it would be around. It would be, whether it was internal or external, it wouldn't be around for very long. And they're a money machine, they're a monetary machine, and yet they don't reimburse us the way we should be reimbursed."

In a sickening display of naive hero-worship and selective analyzing, many who count themselves as part of the alternative media or truth movement, i.e. those skeptical of interventionism and opposed to Clinton's ties to the Saudis and other special-interests, jumped on the Trump bandwagon merely due to his rhetoric. Never mind that politicians always pander to their audiences and criticize the other candidate even for those things equally applicable to them. Never mind that George W. Bush himself, who pursued the entire "War on Terror" and disastrous wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, likewise was elected on a promise of no "nation-building." Never mind that Barack Obama, elected as a reaction to the disastrous foreign and economic policies of the Bush administration, pursued and even intensified those very same policies once in office.

This cycle of false hope and searching for a political savior repeats itself because its not in the nature of such group-think to critically confront the reality of the State. Everyone wants to construct their own fantasies and build upon them delusionally. Yet, in early April 2016 I wrote an Open Letter to Truth Movement Supporters of Donald Trump, which warned his gullible echo-chambers in alt-media that every rhetoric of his would not come to fruition, and it would be the American taxpayers shouldering the burden of paying for his consistent canard that others would "reimburse" America.

Trump frequently criticized Hillary Clinton, in several of their debates and his rallies, for taking $25 million through her Clinton Foundation, from "people that push gays off buildings. These are people that kill women and treat women horribly and yet you take their money." Yet, on May 21, 2017, his own daughter Ivanka announced a joint project with the World Bank that would be funded to the tune of $100 million by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Even while rightly criticizing his Democratic opponent (for the consumption of his gullible followers, while openly praising Hillary as a "terrific friend" and buddying with the "crooked" Clintons), Trump has no problem with her daughter's own initiative being funded four times more by Saudi Arabia!

Thus what we see is a project which brings together Mr. "Make America Great Again" with the leading funders and exporters of Wahhabi terror, and the World Bank, which cripples individuals and entire nations alike with that evil device known as "compound interest" (no surprise, since the Gulf countries happen to be the masterminds of "Islamic" banking, making riba/usury "halal", an entire banking sub-structure of the international banking system which has always help "launder" and move around money for terrorist groups and false-flag ops). This is the same World Bank which happens to be headed by a who's who of Neoliberal/Neocon interventionists, the infamous Paul Wolfowitz having just been one of many. This initiative was "sold" on the claim of fostering "entrepreneurs," but such philanthropy must always be viewed esoterically: It may appear to be one way to people it "helps," but its actually structured to control them.

Even though he had supported the Iraq war when any such opposition would've mattered, for political posturing Trump later used the war to attack the Bush establishment within the Republican Party. On February 17, 2016, Trump claimed that if he was elected, "you will find out who really knocked down the World Trade Center. It wasn't the Iraqis. You may find it's the Saudis." Now as President, Trump cooperates very closely with the same dynasty he blamed for 9/11. This tells us much about Puppet Trump, and the deeper agenda about why he chose Wahhabidom and Zion as his first presidential trips abroad. A man with an inflated ego is always easy to manipulate by the elites.

The alt-media's cultish singing the praises of Trump is only exceeded by its dogmatic idolization of Putin. Many of these are certain self-professed anti-Zionists, who assert that both world leaders are secretly "plotting" against the very Israel that both openly support with their words and actions. On the other side, the mainstream media speaks much about the links between Trump and Putin, including pushing the simplistic half-truth that Putin "fixed" the U.S. presidential election in favor of Trump, from the standpoint of liberal interventionist saber-rattling against Russia.

Lost in the entire debate is that Trump and Putin are binded by common links to the Hassidic Chabad movement, a world-wide orthodox Jewish movement with origins in Lurianic Cabbala and a hardline messianism centered around its founder, Rabbi Menachem Schneerson. In its obituary of Schneerson on June 13, 1994, The New York Times described the Chabad founder as "a major political force in Israel, both in the Knesset and among the electorate," who "presided over a religious empire that reached from the back streets of Brooklyn to the main streets of Israel and by 1990 was taking in an estimated $100 million a year in contributions."

Jared Kushner's Links to Chabad

Given the movement's massive financial clout, its not surprising the Chabad movement would develop close ties with business interests closely linked with both Putin and Trump. We shall examine those links, but in the case of Trump there are also personal family links via his Jewish convert daughter, Ivanka Trump, and her husband, the Orthodox Jew Jared Kushner; the latter currently serves as Senior Advisor to the President with much power within the White House. Kushner has ties with Chabad and these links were present during his wedding to Ivanka Trump on October 25, 2009:

"Ivanka is only 27, but she recently auctioned off an internship with her for Chabad, the Hasidic organization her boyfriend supports. This donation and the visibility that comes with sounds like a good way to get in with Kushner’s family, because we hear that they don’t like the idea of Jared marrying outside the tribe....The Kushners have long been good friends with Chabad groups. Jared was the head of the Chabad House at Harvard. And dad Charles got a rabbi from Chabad’s Living Legacy organization to write a letter on his behalf when he got into all that prostitute-blackmail trouble. Donating to a Chabad effort, a favored charity of the Kushner family, was the kind of smart move she might want to mention in her upcoming 'motivational' book." On November 6, 2016, Ivanka and Jared visited the "Ohel," Schneerson's grave in Brooklyn - a place of pilgrimage for Hassidic Jews and Kabbalist fellow-travellers. This was reported in a Breitbart article by Joel Pollak, which also lauded "the venerated Lubavitcher Rebbe" and his "worldwide fame and respect" without a word about the racist Jewish supremacism and anti-Gentile hate-speech of Schneerson as contained within his own books that are revered and taught by Chabad to this day. Pollak's article also approvingly cited claims by Chabad members that Ivanka and Jared's pilgrimage to the grave is what "saved" Donald Trump from harm when a man rushed his campaign rally in Reno, Nevada. This should come as no surprise to anyone familiar with Breitbart's pro-Jewish bent.

Chabad Rabbi Ginsburg and West Bank Settlements

Chabad has close links with the Jewish settler movement in the West Bank, with many settlers being Jewish immigrants from the United States. One of these is Rabbi Yitzhak Ginsburg, president of the Od Yosef Chai yeshiva in the settlement of Yitzhar, near the Palestinian family of Nablus. This yeshiva is one of the recipients of the Kushner family's donations to many Jewish settler groups. Ginsburg first made a name for himself when he justified the killing of Palestinian civilians by his armed Jewish settlers: "Rabbi Yitzhak Ginsburg had offered biblical justification for the view that the spilling of non-Jewish blood was a lesser offense than the spilling of Jewish blood. 'Any trial based on the assumption that Jews and goyim are equal is a total travesty of injustice,' he said. 'We have to recognize that Jewish blood and the blood of a goy are not the same thing.'" ("An Israeli Mayor Is Under Scrutiny," The New York Times, June 6, 1989, p. 5)

Rabbi Yitzhak Ginsburg

Ginsburg elaborated in a later religious ruling: "As for the Goyim....Zalman's attitude (was): 'Gentile souls are of a completely different and inferior order. They are totally evil, with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.'...If every single cell in a Jewish body entails divinity, and is thus a part of G-d, then every strand of DNA is a part of G-d. Therefore, something is special about Jewish DNA. If a Jew needs a liver, can he take the liver of an innocent non-Jew to save him? The Torah would probably permit to take the liver of an innocent non-Jew passing by, to save the Jew. There is something infinitely more holy and unique about Jewish life than non-Jewish life." Chabad Links to Donald Trump?

Such Jewish supremacist teachings proliferate on the West Bank settlements, and they have close links not only to the Kushner family, but have also received donations from David Friedman, Trump's lawyer-turned-his Ambassador to Israel, and even from the Trump Foundation itself. Another Orthodox Jew in Trump's cabinet is his advisor on Israel and Special Representative for International Negotiations, Jason Greenblatt, who has often served as Trump's personal representative to Chabad communities. No surprise that Trump has directly cultivated links with the Chabad movement and been among its leading non-Jewish benefactors:

"President-elect Donald Trump’s foundation has donated thousands of dollars to Chabad institutions. The Israeli daily Haaretz also reported that the foundation of the parents of Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner gave some $342,500 to Chabad institutions and projects over a 10-year period.

"The Donald J. Trump Foundation donated $11,550 to three Chabad institutions. In 2008, a year before Ivanka Trump and Kushner were married, the Trump foundation donated $6,750 to the Lubavitch Youth Organization in Brooklyn and $1,800 to the Chabad of Southampton Jewish Charity. In 2011, the foundation donated $3,000 to Chabad of East Boca Raton – an institution in Florida also supported by the Kushners.

"The Charles and Seryl Kushner Family Foundation, on whose board Kushner sits, made $78,000 in donations to the Ohel visitors center at the grave of the Lubavitcher rebbe in 2011 and 2013, and $150,000 to the Chabad center at Harvard University in 2007 and another $3,600 in 2013. Kushner, who is an Orthodox Jew, is a graduate of Harvard.

Jason Greenblatt confers with Rabbi Shmuely Boteach

Rabbi Shmuely Boteach is a leading Jewish religious leader in the United States, complete with numerous TV and radio appearances where he's touted as an authority not just on Judaism but on general morality and other issues (fitting in with Chabad concepts of "Noahide" guidance to "the goyim"). In 1988, he was personally sent by Schneerson as a Chabad shaliach (emissary) to Oxford, England, where he served as rabbi for eleven years and founded the L'Chaim Society, as he boasts on his website where he's labelled "America's Rabbi." During the 2016 presidential campaign, Boteach publicly endorsed Trump because he was "a much better candidate for Israel." After Breitbart leader Stephen Bannon, the former Goldman Sachs and Hollywood investment banker who serves as Trump's Special Counselor and Chief Strategist, was attacked by the mainstream media, Boteach defended him, joining the numerous other Likudist/Neocon Jews defending the pro-Jewish Bannon.

Lev Leviev and the Russian Connection

Lev Leviev is an Israeli billionaire of Uzbek Bukhari Jewish background, known for his diamond mining investments in Angola and his role in financing the construction of Jewish settlements in the West Bank. He is a major philanthropist of the Chabad movement. In 2015, Leviev personally earned $35 million when his Africa Israel Investments Ltd. sold its 50.1% stake in the Times Square Building in Manhattan for $295 million, to Trump's orthodox Jewish son-in-law Jared Kushner. With the rise of the Russian Federation in the 1990s, Leviev avoided ties with President Boris Yeltsin and instead hedged his bets on former KGB agent Vladimir Putin, whose political fortunes he saw rising. Putin's Chabad Handlers

Born into a Chabad family in Milan, Berel Lazar was ordained a rabbi at the Central Lubavitch Yeshiva in New York City. After the fall of the Soviet Union, Schneerson sent Lazar as his personal emissary to Russia in 1990. Lazar has since served as Rabbi of the synagogue in Maryina Roshcha District of Moscow, and through Leviev was introduced in 1992 to leading Russian-Jewish oligarchs, Boris Berezovsky and Roman Abramovich. On August 1, 1997, Leviev and Lazar founded the Federation of Jewish Communities of the CIS (FJC), the Chabad-controlled organization whose takeover of the Russian Jewish community has occurred through its close connections with Putin.

"Lazar’s work, his Russia boosterism and his ties to the Kremlin — he is sometimes called 'Putin's rabbi' — has helped Chabad’s Russian branch eclipse all the Jewish groups vying to reshape the country's community of 250,000 Jews. Now Lazar heads a vast network that comprises dozens of employees and plentiful volunteers working in hundreds of Jewish institutions: schools, synagogues, community centers and kosher shops....Today, Lazar said, Russia has in Vladimir Putin its 'most pro-Jewish leader,' whom he credits with 'fighting anti-Semitism more vigorously than any Russian leader before him.'....Lazar was Chabad’s chief envoy to Russia before staking claim to the title of chief rabbi in 2000. That’s when he quit the Russian Jewish Congress, an umbrella group, after the organization’s founder, Vladimir Gusinsky, and Russia’s other chief rabbi, Adolf Shayevich, criticized Russia’s war in Chechnya and its alleged human rights abuses — including the alleged targeting, by anti-corruption authorities, of political dissidents." Putin's Rabbi....or Rabbi's Putin?

The alt-media's Putin worship partly centers around his alleged struggle against Jewish oligarchs such as Berezovsky and Gusinsky, but what they fail to mention is Putin's cracking down on them coincided with Lazar and Leviev's own falling out with those oligarchs who weren't tied to Chabad. Nor do they take into account Putin's continued ties with such oligarchs as Mikhail Fridman or the Rotenberg brothers - indeed what the Jerusalem Post termed "an army of Jewish billionaires" at Putin's side. Indeed, it was another oligarch tied to Chabad - Roman Abramovich - who first recommended to Yeltsin that Putin become his successor. The Chabad-Putin Coup

Lazar was an "American citizen who had lived in Russia only nine years, and his command of the Russian language was relatively weak. To remedy that, on May 26, 2000 Putin extended Russian citizenship to thirty-one individuals. While most were Uzbeks and Azeris, the final candidate was Rabbi Lazar. Lazar belongs to the Orthodox Lubavitch Hassidic movement, or Chabad, headquartered in Brooklyn, New York. He had been sent, along with several dozen other adherents, to establish Hassidic communities all over the former Soviet Union. It was the Jewish equivalent of a missionary movement. By coincidence, one of Putin's favorite oligarchs, Roman Abramovich, attended Lubavitch services and provided financial support to Rabbi Lazar's movement. Thus Abramovich may have inspired the strategy of the challenge to Gusinsky. Abramovich was also allied with Lev Levayev, a one-time official in the Russian Jewish Congress, who was a major supporter of the Lubavitch Hassidic movement in Israel and Russia, and a man eager to win favor with President Putin.

"Levayev became the president of the new umbrella group, which instead of the Russian Jewish Congress they called the Federation of Jewish Communities in the Commonwealth of Independent States. An Israeli citizen born in Uzbekistan, Levayev was a controversial diamond dealer who has allegedly used his access to President Putin to encroach on De Beers' exclusive rights to Russian diamonds. He has also been involved with the one-time aluminum oligarch Mikhail Chernoi, accused by the Israeli police of being deeply involved with the Russian underworld and international money laundering, charges denied by Chernoi.

"On June 13, 2000, two weeks after becoming citizen and a day after meeting in the Kremlin with Putin, Lazar convened a meeting of his fellow Hassidic rabbi emissaries from forty-five Russian regions. They voted unanimously to make Rabbi Lazar the Chief Rabbi of Russia. This was somewhat awkward since there was an already existing Chief Rabbi, Adolf Shayevich, who was recognized by the Russian Jewish Congress. Undeterred the Russian government immediately decreed Lazar's Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia the official representative of Russian Jews, thereby superseding Gusinsky's Congress." Jewish Supremacist Teachings of Chabad

Schneerson was seventh in a line of Chabad leaders called Rebbe. The first Rebbe was Shneur Zalman of Liadi (1745-1812), one of the foremost Hassidic authorities, who authored commentaries and updated versions of Halacha (Jewish law). In the first two chapters of Tanya, he claimed Jewish souls were derived from the Divine, whereas the souls of "the nations" (goyim/gentiles) are derived from evil. So "all the good that the nations do, is done from selfish motives....all the charity and kindness done by the nations of the world is only for their own self-glorification." Zalman also wrote: "All Jews are good by nature, all non-Jews are evil by nature. The Jews are creation's crowning glory, the non-Jews are the scum of the earth."

That this is a "master race" ideology, is seen by the fact that he also said in chapters 18 and 19 of Tanya that even the lowest Jew has a "spark" of the Divine. "The inwardness of a Jew....remains intact in every Jew, regardless of his outward status and whatever the outward circumstances may be." (Schneerson, Letters by the Lubavitscher Rebbe 1956-1980, Brooklyn, New York: Kehot Publication Society, 1981, p. 13)

This book is openly sold by Jewish bookstores, while the hate-filled Tanya holds such reverence among the Chabad movement that it contains the entire work on its official website. "The basic religious and social mission of Habad is thus intended to elevate the conscious choice of the individual to the level of his inner Jewish choseness, that is, to actualize his inner given holiness." (Aviezer Ravitzky, Messianism, Zionism, and Jewish Religious Radicalism, University of Chicago Press, 1996, p. 191)

Schneerson taught that Jews were uniquely "chosen" and granted innate holiness, which further entrenches an ontological barrier between Jews and non-Jews, leading to the exclusivism that really defines Chabad. Schneerson taught that each morning, Jews should give thanks to God for having restored their "Jewish souls", as "'life' is Jewish life only", so that "his entire vitality and life consist - in his being a Jew." (Schneerson, On the Essence of Chassidus, Brooklyn, NY: Kehot Publication Society, 1986, pp. 49, 73) This book is likewise taught on the Chabad website and can be openly purchased from Jewish bookstores.

"Souls of Gentiles unclean"

The following excerpts are from Tanya, which is a major part of Chabad's "outreach" efforts. Here is their true teachings against all non-Jews, laid bare for any honest observer: "The souls of the nations of the world (i.e. all Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, etc.), however, emanate from the other, unclean 'kelipot' (evil forces) which contain no good whatever." (Tanya, New York/London: Kehot Publication Society, 1973, p. 5)

"However, the 'kelipot' (evil forces) are subdivided into two grades, one lower than the other. The lower grade consists of the three 'kelipot' which are altogether unclean and evil, containing no good whatever. From them flow and derive the souls of all the nations of the world (i.e. all Christians, Muslims, etc.), and the existence of their bodies, and also the souls of all living creatures that are unclean and unfit for consumption." (ibid., Chapter 6, p. 25)

"To elucidate still further, it is necessary to clarify the meaning of the verse 'The candle of God is the soul of (neshamah) of man.' What it means is that the souls of Jews, who are called 'man', are, by way of illustration, like the flame of the candle, whose nature it is always to scintillate upwards....Now this is a general principle in the whole realm of holiness....This stands in direct contrast to the so-called 'Kelipah' (evil forces) and 'sitra achara' (the other, evil side), where from are derived the souls of the Gentiles....Therefore they (the Gentiles) are called 'dead.'" (ibid., Chapter 19, pp. 77, 79)

Thus, Chabad lumps all Gentiles with pigs, snakes, worms, and all other "creatures that are unclean and unfit for consumption." There are also comparisons to dogs: "Thus an Orthodox Jew learns from his earliest youth, as part of his sacred studies, that Gentiles are compared to dogs." (Israel Shahak, Jewish History, Jewish Religion: The Weight of Three Thousand Years, London: Pluto Press, 1994, p. 94) This serves as a theological basis behind the actions of Israel and the Zionist movement, to dehumanize the Palestinian "Gentiles" and legitimize their murder.

Schneerson's Anti-Gentilism

Schneerson believed that Jews and Gentiles are "two separate species," going to lengths to innumerate how the former are "superior" to the latter: "A non-Jew should be punished by death if he kills an embryo, even if the embryo is non-Jewish, while the Jew should not be, even if the embryo is Jewish. The difference between a Jewish and a non-Jewish person stems from the common expression: 'Let us differentiate.' Thus, we do not have a case of profound change in which a person is merely on a superior level. Rather we have a case of 'let us diffentiate' between totally different species. This is what needs to be said about the body: the body of a Jewish person is of a totally different quality from the body of [members] of all nations [goyim] of the world.

"The Jewish body 'looks as if it were in substance similar to bodies of non-Jews,' but the meaning is that the bodies only seem to be similar in material substance, outward look and superficial quality. The difference of the inner quality, however, is so great that the bodies should be considered as completely different species.

"This is the reason why the Talmud states that there is an halachic difference in attitude about the bodies of non-Jews: 'and their bodies are in vain'....An even greater difference exists in regard to the soul. Two contrary types of soul exist, a non-Jewish soul comes from three satanic spheres, while the Jewish soul stems from holiness.

"The body of a Jewish embryo is on a higher level than is the body of a non-Jew....We therefore ask: Why should a non-Jew be punished if he kills even a non-Jewish embryo while a Jew should not be punished even if he kills a Jewish embryo? The answer can be understood by the general difference between Jews and non-Jews: A Jew was not created as a means for some [other] purpose; he himself is the purpose, since the substance of all [divine] emanations was created only to serve the Jews: 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth' means that [the heavens and the earth] were created for the sake of the Jews, who are called the 'beginning.'

"This means everything, all developments, all discoveries, the creation, including the 'heavens and the earth' - are vanity compared to the Jews. The important things are the Jews, because they do not exist for any [other] aim; they themselves are [the divine] aim."
